Here
you'll find the AAP's December 1997 policy statement regarding the
management of breastfeeding. Read what the AAP's recommendations are on
breastfeeding frequency, hospital policy as it relates to
breastfeeding, use of supplemental formula, water, or glucose,
introduction of solid foods, use of supplemental vitamins/iron,
duration of breastfeeding, breastfeeding and the workplace, etc.

Kelly, the mom of Jordan and Alex and an accredited La Leche League
Leader, has a site with a wealth of breastfeeding information she has
researched herself. Of special interest are her pages on the use of
herbs to increase milk supply and normal sleep patterns for breastfed
babies (you may be relieved to find that your baby is VERY normal!).
You'll also learn a lot about attachment parenting, what it is, and how
it will greatly benefit your baby and you! The numerous links to
breastfeeding information at this site are especially helpful. A
breastfeeding support board has recently been added, too. Here Kelly
and three other breastfeeding specialists, including myself, answer
your breastfeeding questions. You'll also be able to "meet" other
nursing moms and network with them.

The brand new site of Paula Yount, another of my close breastfeeding
support buddies! Paula is a certified breastfeeding educator and the
mother of five. Her site is full of information with an emphasis on
breastfeeding. You'll also find information there on homeschooling,
geneology, and various parenting topics.
Jeri
manages this helpful site. Here you'll find invaluable information on
pregnancy and childbirth, breastfeeding, attachment parenting, infant
and child care, etc. Jeri's addition of scripture and references to
breastfeeding in the Bible are especially encouraging!
